Join us for a walk through Shibamata, a neighborhood where the nostalgic atmosphere of old Tokyo still remains, and enjoy the Shibamata Yoi Festa, a special evening event held in Shibamata! 🌙🏮✨

☕ First, we’ll meet at the café!
Enjoy English conversation and international exchange in a relaxed atmosphere where it’s easy to connect with others. First-time and solo participants are very welcome, and you’ll quickly feel comfortable and connected. 😊

🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️ After leaving the café, we’ll head to the Shibamata Yoi Festa!
At night, Shibamata comes alive with the Shibamata Yoi Festa, featuring local food, craft beer, music, and more! 🍢🍺🎶

Along the approach to Shibamata Taishakuten, you can enjoy grilled skewers and craft beer from local shops. At Yamamoto-tei, there will also be a special evening concert. 🎶🌙

At the Shibamata Kawajin Machinamikan, you can enjoy traditional festival activities, shooting games, food trucks, photo spots, and more! 🏮🎯📸

📍 Shibamata Taishakuten (Taikyoji Temple)
Located in Shibamata, Katsushika, Tokyo, Shibamata Taishakuten is a historic Buddhist temple with a history dating back to the Edo period.
It is also famous as a place associated with Tora-san, the beloved main character of the popular Japanese film series Otoko wa Tsurai yo (It’s Tough Being a Man), and is one of Shibamata’s most iconic landmarks. 🎬👒
The temple grounds feature the beautifully carved Taishakudo Hall and the traditional Japanese garden Suikeien, among other highlights. ⛩️✨
The approach to the temple is lined with traditional shops, including long-established dango sweet shops, restaurants, and souvenir stores, creating a nostalgic old-town atmosphere. 🍡🏮
Experience the history and traditional downtown culture of Shibamata while enjoying local food along the temple approach and exploring the streets associated with Tora-san.

- This event is not a guided tour.
- Last order for drinks is 30 minutes before departure.
- If you do not order a drink, an additional 500 JPY will be charged on top of the participation fee.
- Joining the event after departure is not possible.
- Registration is not available after arriving at the café on the day of the event.
- This meetup will conclude at the destination.
- If there are fewer than three participants on the day or in case of severe weather, the event will be canceled. However, you are still welcome to visit the café and enjoy our various meetups.
- If you wish to leave the group early, please inform the organizer.

カフェを出たら、柴又で行われる柴又宵フェスタへ！

東京都葛飾区柴又にある、江戸時代から続く歴史ある寺院です。
映画『男はつらいよ』の主人公・寅さんゆかりの場所としても有名で、柴又を代表する観光スポットの一つです。🎬👒
境内には、精巧な彫刻が施された帝釈堂や、庭園「邃渓園」などの見どころがあります。⛩️✨
また、帝釈天へ続く参道には、昔ながらの団子屋や飲食店、土産物店などが並び、下町らしい雰囲気を楽しめます。🍡🏮
