We’re hosting a cultural festival where you can experience Japanese traditional culture and food in a fun and relaxed atmosphere!

Why not explore Japan’s rich traditions through Japanese calligraphy and tea ceremony? Discover the art of writing with a brush and experience the spirit of Japanese hospitality through tea. Beginners are more than welcome, so come and discover the beauty of Japanese culture! 🍵🖌️

You can also join our onigiri-making experience! Make and enjoy onigiri (Japanese rice balls), a staple of Japanese home cooking, with your own hands. Discover Japanese food culture while enjoying the fun of making your own rice balls and tasting them fresh! 🍙😋

There’s more to enjoy, including shogi (Japanese chess), Go, origami, and kendama! Feel free to try these traditional Japanese games and activities at your own pace. No prior experience is necessary, so give them a try!

You’re welcome to join any of the activity booths freely, and you can also enjoy our English conversation and international exchange events taking place at the same time. It’s a special opportunity to experience Japanese culture while connecting with people from around the world!

Travelers, international students, and anyone interested in Japanese culture are all welcome!

Try Japanese calligraphy using a brush and ink.
Write kanji characters or your favorite words while enjoying the beauty of traditional Japanese writing. ✍️

🎎 Japanese Tea Ceremony
Experience the traditional Japanese tea ceremony.
Learn how to prepare matcha and basic tea etiquette while enjoying the spirit of Japanese hospitality in a calm and relaxing atmosphere. 🍵🌿

🎎 Onigiri Making
Come make and enjoy onigiri, a classic Japanese home-style food! 🍙 Experience Japanese food culture while making onigiri and connecting with people from around the world.

🎎 Shogi & Go
Experience Japan’s traditional board games, Shogi and Go.
Learn the basic rules and enjoy playing while discovering Japan’s unique strategy game culture. ♟️

🎎 More Activities
You can also try traditional Japanese games such as Origami, Kendama, Spinning Tops (Koma), and Otedama (Japanese beanbag juggling).

🎎 International Meetups
We will also be hosting several international exchange meetups throughout the event. When you're not participating in the cultural activities above, you're welcome to join any of the meetups. It's a great opportunity to meet local Japanese people and people from around the world while discovering diverse cultures and perspectives.

💡 Fees
Participation Fee: *FREE* (Regardless of nationality or gender)
- Entry and exit are free, and you are welcome to attend at any time
- One drink order is required (from 500 JPY)
- Second drink and onwards: discounted price (from 300 JPY)
- Alcohol (from 500 JPY), light meal (from 100 JPY)
- A one-time “Member Passport” issuance fee of 100 JPY applies
- Payment is cash only

- This meetup group is for members only. To be a member, you have to read and understand the "Rule Book" and agree to its contents.

日本の伝統文化や食文化を気軽に体験できる文化祭を開催します！

書道や茶道を体験して、日本ならではの伝統文化に触れてみませんか？筆を使って文字を書く楽しさや、お茶を通じた日本のおもてなしの心を体験できます。初めての方も、楽しみながら日本文化の魅力を発見してみましょう！🍵🖌️

さらに、おにぎり作り体験では、日本の家庭料理の定番「おにぎり」を自分の手で作って味わえます。日本の食文化に触れながら、作る楽しさとできたてのおいしさを一緒に楽しみましょう！🍙😋

そのほかにも、将棋・囲碁・折り紙・けん玉など、日本の伝統的な遊びを自由にお楽しみいただけます。初めての方でも気軽にご参加いただけますので、ぜひ挑戦してみてください！

各ブースには自由にご参加いただけるほか、同時開催している英会話・国際交流イベントもあわせてお楽しみいただけます。世界中の参加者と交流しながら、日本文化を体験できる特別な一日です。

🎎 書道 (7:30 PM)
日本の伝統文化「書道」を気軽に体験できるイベントです。筆と墨を使い、漢字や好きな言葉を書きながら、日本の美しい文字文化を楽しみます。

🎎 茶道 (8:00 PM)
日本の伝統文化「茶道」を気軽に体験できるイベントです。
抹茶のたて方や基本的な作法を学びながら、日本の“おもてなし”の心と静かな時間を楽しみます。🍵🌿

✍️🎎 おにぎり作り (7:00 PM)
日本の家庭料理の定番「おにぎり」を、みんなで楽しく作って味わいましょう！🍙おにぎり作りを通して、日本の食文化と国際交流を楽しみます。

🎎 将棋・囲碁 (7:00 PM)
日本の伝統的なボードゲーム 将棋・囲碁 を気軽に体験できるイベントです。基本ルールを学びながら対局を楽しみ、日本ならではの知的ゲーム文化に触れることができます。♟️

🎎 そのほかの体験
折り紙、けん玉、コマ回し、お手玉など、日本の伝統的な遊びも体験できます。

当日は他の国際交流会も同時開催。上記の体験以外の時間は、各交流会にご参加いただけます。日本人や世界中の参加者と交流しながら、さまざまな文化や価値観に触れることができます。
