【3Days】🏝️Exploring Hachijyojima/八丈島トリップ

Let’s visit Hachijyojima and explore the island together!

Hachijojima is located in the southern part of the Izu Islands, about 290 km off central tokyo. It is part of the Izu archipelago and within the Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park. Subtropical palms, ferns, and hibiscus are thriving across the island. The island is formed from two stratovolcanoes and we will hike both!

We will fly from Haneda on saturday morning and arrive on the island around 8:30 on 11th. We will then get a bike and explore the every corner of the island. On Day2, we will rent a car and head to the beach! BBQ is planned for the night. On Day 3, we will hike mountain and visit farms, etc.

We will end the trip around 17:00 on 13th but feel free to extend your stay as you like.

八丈島を一緒に島を散策しよう！

八丈島は伊豆諸島の南部に位置し、東京都心から約290kmほどの場所にあります。伊豆諸島の一部で、富士箱根伊豆国立公園の中にある島です。亜熱帯のヤシ、シダ、ハイビスカスが島全体に繁茂してトロピカルな雰囲気を味わえます。島は2つの成層火山から形成されていて、今回はその両方をハイキングしながら島の魅力を発見する旅です。

7月11日の朝7:35に羽田を出発し、8:30に八丈島空港に到着します。初日はサイクリング🚴で島の隅々まで探検します。2日目は車を借りてビーチへ。この日の夜はBBQ🍖3日目もまたレンタサイクルを借りて、のんびり島を回り、車では行けない隠れたトレイルを散策します。

イベントは13日の17時ごろ終了ですが、延長したい方はご自由にどうぞ！

Some highlights:

• hiking on two mountains - may do a night hike for stargazing ⭐️ or early morning hike to see sunrise
• both hikes are about 2-3hrs and elevation gain is about 500-700m
• explore the island nature (beaches, waterfallslls, hot springs,
• BBQ 🍖 by the beach
• historical site visits

Participation fee: 26,000 yen

Including:

• Accommodation for 2 days (shared room)
• dinner on Day 1
• rental bicycle 🚲 for 2 days
• rental car (gas, parking, etc) on 1 day
• rental bbq set on Day 2 (food and drink cost will be split among participants)
• organizing/planning fee

Not including:

• flight from haneda to Hachijyojima

• flight back from Hachijojima to Haneda. There is one ANA flight (1896) departs at 17:30 (you can an also take a ferry back but it leaves at 9am and takes about 10hr)

• meals or admission fee to any facilities during this trip
