This is a thought exchange event focusing on learning languages. Whether you're currently studying a second language or have an interest in second language acquisition, we invite you to participate. You might find others who share your passion!
The event is free of charge.
It begins at 8:30 AM JST and will last for one hour.

Hello, everyone! How are you?

We meet on Zoom every week to chat in both English and Japanese. If you're learning these languages, please feel free to join us.

Please note that all participants are required to have their cameras on.
If you cannot meet this requirement, we kindly ask that you refrain from joining.

Our sessions are 90 minutes in total. After a short icebreaker, we’ll invite you to a breakout room so you can chat in smaller groups.
Once divided, each group will have 40 minutes to talk: 20 minutes in English, followed by 20 minutes in Japanese.
At the end of the conversation, we’ll come back to the main room to reflect on today’s activities.

Our group has a cheerful and relaxed atmosphere. Each week, we explore different topics—for instance, one week might be about musicals, the next about tourist attractions or history, and another about okonomiyaki.

The organizer is a qualified Japanese teacher with business experience in planning and visualization, as well as international distribution in the anime industry and translation, publishing, and documentary video production in the television industry. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have.

最初にアイスブレイクを行い、その後、少人数のグループで話せるようブレイクアウトルームに移動します。グループに分かれた後、それぞれのグループで40分間、20分は英語、残りの20分は日本語で会話します。
会話が終わったら、メインルームに戻り、今日の活動を振り返りましょう。
グループの雰囲気は明るくて居心地の良いものです。

たとえば、ある週はミュージカルについて話し、次の週は観光名所や歴史、さらに次の週はお好み焼きについて語り合います。

主催者は資格を持つ日本語教師で、特に「プランニングとビジュアル化」や「アニメ業界で国際配給業務」、そして翻訳出版やTV業界でドキュメンタリーの映像制作に関するビジネス経験もありますので、何か質問があればお気軽にどうぞ。
