Kamakura Creative Writing Meetup is a relaxed and supportive space for anyone who enjoys writing and exploring ideas. This meetup takes place every other Tuesday and is about creating time and space to write, think, and gently exchange ideas with others in a calm and friendly atmosphere.
We welcome all kinds of writing, including books, short stories, personal reflections, blogs, screenwriting, travel experiences, philosophy, and moments from daily life. Each session offers a balance of quiet writing time and light conversation. You are free to focus on your own work, talk through ideas or structure, share thoughts if you wish, or simply listen and get inspired.
There is no teaching, no pressure, and no expectation to share your work. Some people prefer to write silently, while others enjoy discussing characters, scenes, concepts, or personal experiences. Both are equally welcome.
This meetup is open to all levels. You do not need to be a professional writer. Curiosity, imagination, and a love for expressing ideas matter more than perfection.

鎌倉クリエイティブ・ライティング・ミートアップは、文章を書くことやアイデアを探求することを楽しむ方のための、リラックスしたあたたかい空間です。隔週火曜日に開催され、落ち着いた雰囲気の中で、書く時間とやさしいアイデア交換の時間を大切にしています。
本、短編、個人的な内省、ブログ、脚本、旅の体験、哲学、日常のひとコマなど、さまざまな形式の文章を歓迎します。毎回、静かに自分の作品に集中する時間と、軽い会話のバランスがあります。自分の作業に集中してもよく、アイデアや構成について話してもよく、聞くだけの参加も歓迎です。
教える人はいません。共有の義務もありません。黙々と書く方もいれば、登場人物や場面、コンセプト、個人的な体験について話す方もいます。どちらも歓迎される、安心できる雰囲気です。
レベルは問いません。プロの作家である必要もありません。完璧さよりも、好奇心、想像力、そして表現することを楽しむ気持ちを大切にしています。
