日本には、一年を72の小さな季節に分ける「七十二候」があります。
この週は「桃始笑（ももはじめてさく）」。

花は「咲く」と言いますが、昔の日本では「笑う」とも表現しました。
桃の花がやわらかくほころぶ様子を、春がほほえみ始める瞬間として感じていたのです。

今回の散策では、ただ花を見るだけではありません。
