Join us for Louisville Makes Games' in-person Global Game Jam from January 30 to February 1, 2026.
Dive into collaborative game development and connect with fellow game designers and learners of all skill levels and form teams in person for a weekend of creative brainstorming and game development.

Whether you're interested in making video games, card games, or board games, all are welcome.

What is a Game Jam?
A game jam is a friendly event where game enthusiasts come together to collaboratively create games within a set time. It's a great opportunity for learning, creative exploration, and meeting fellow enthusiasts. Join us at Louisville Makes Games' Global Game Jam for a weekend of enjoyable collaboration and skill-building!

• Think about what role you want to play. Do you want to do 2D art all weekend? 3d modeling? animation? C# code in Unity, Lua code in LÖVE? think about what part you want to play on a team - this will help with team forming Friday night!

Cap off the weekend with game presentations on Sunday from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Invite friends and family to witness the innovative creations. Public presentations are also accessible via Discord.
