Kimono-Dressing & Traditional Dance Workshop in Tokyo 79

Learn how to wear a kimono or yukata, and how to dance to the sound of well-known traditional Japanese folk songs (or famous summer festival songs).

*Workshop Location:
Sasazuka Kumin Kaikan (笹塚区民会館), 4th floor. (3-1-9, Sasazuka, Shibuya, Tokyo)
This community hall is an 8-minute walk from Sasazuka Station on the Keio Line and Keio New Line

*Workshop:

1- Starting at 14:30:
Learn how to wear a kimono
*We will lend you a kimono and all the necessary accessories.
(You only need to bring a t-shirt to wear under.)

2- Starting at 15:30:
Learn how to dance 'Sansa Shigure', a traditional dance using a fan that is perfect for the New Year!

• The workshops will be in English and in Japanese.
• You can participate for ¥3000.
