We are a musical ensemble featuring koto (Japanese traditional instrument), violin, and voice.

This time, we will hold a one-hour concert at a wine bar!
Enjoy a good glass of wine and listen to our music in a relaxed atmosphere.

You can hear a mix of Japanese and Western sounds, played with the koto—a traditional Japanese instrument everyone should hear at least once—together with violin and voice.

＝About us＝
“noranolism” is ensemble of Tokyo University of the Arts graduates, specializing in Japanese Koto, classical singing, and violin. We blend Japanese and Western music traditions to create a unique sound. Embracing the spirit of the “nora (= wild / independent)” musician, the challenge conventions and explore the limits of their instruments.

We held concerts where people could enjoy the beauty of each instrument up close. In summer 2024, we went on a performance tour, playing at cafes in Tokyo’s downtown. We also performed at temples and held outdoor concerts in parks.
