Congratulations, marine. You are one of a lucky few, 24 to be precise, to have been selected for a thrilling boarding action.

The SSV Zhoushan has appeared on our sensors 36 standard hours ago. We managed to take out their main drives as of 7 standard hours ago and are currently on an assault burn to their location. We hope to arrive before they can repair their engines, or for that matter weapon systems, as it looks like we've also crippled those.
How do we know, you ask? Because if we didn't, there is no reason for them to not return fire, that's why.

Your mission is simple. Get on board and secure the vessel.

It's your lucky day marine! An enemy ship with disabled weapon systems. This is a walk on the beach. So, grab your shorts and sun lotion. You'll be leaving at 0900 ship time. Hangar 2.

We will be playing a game set in the ALIEN universe. You will be United States Colonial Marines boarding a Union of Progressive People vessel.
We will be using the MOTHERSHIP rules set for this. Because it is fast and deadly.
Don't get too attached to your marine, because someone will most likely die within the first 19 seconds of initial boarding (don't blame me, it's the average life expectancy for such a mission).
But don't worry, there are plenty of marines to take the spot.
