Mt. Mitake Hike
Shinjuku Station, 3-chōme-38-1 Shinjuku, Shinjuku City, Tokyo, JPA fun day out hiking the beautiful Mt Mitake. Cable-car to the start point, waterfalls, gorge, lush forests, temples, mountain village & more.
Mt Mitake is a beautiful hiking location near Okutama in western Tokyo. It constantly amazes that such a stunning natural environment can be accessible so easily from Tokyo metro! For this trip we will meet at Mitake station and catch the local bus (10min) to the bottom of the cable car. We will board the cable car (round trip tickets included) which steeply ascends to the start point of our hike. After arriving at the top and taking in the great views, we will begin the hike. We will be taking the rock garden trail which is around 3 to 4hrs in total. It is an easy hike, although there are a few steep sections and also an optional climbing section with ropes and chains. Along the way we will take in waterfalls, mountain streams, a mountain village, temple, forests, lookouts and more.
Caution: Our meeting place will be at Mitake Station, not Shinjuku Station. Please be sure to sign up from our OFFICIAL WEBSITE to get full information about the trip.

Miyakejima Dolphin Swim Island Getaway
Takeshiba Pier, 1-chōme-16-3 Kaigan, Minato City, Tokyo, JPA weekend island getaway to beautiful Miyakejima. Famous for its friendly, wild dolphins. Trip includes dolphin swimming tour and camping!!
YOU MUST SIGN UP ON THE OFFICIAL TRIP PAGE HERE BELOW TO JOIN:
Miyakejima and neighboring Mikurajima are part of the Izu islands chain that includes the well-known Niijima and others. Miyake and Mikura Islands are famous for being home to a large family of 200 Indo-Pacific Bottlenose dolphins. These dolphins are living in the wild, in their natural environment however they are very friendly and as such enjoy coming right up to swimmers and snorkelers and playing around them. This rare phenomenon allows us to experience the friendly dolphins up close and personal in their natural habitat! While swimming with the dolphins its possible that you will meet small family groups, mothers, young adults and even super cute babies! This is definitely a good trip for a waterproof camera!
We are taking the large passenger ferry over to the island. We have reserved rooms and can also hang out, relax, party and even sleep up on the top decks during the cruise. We will be camping in a beautiful, ocean front camp ground with good facilities. There are some great snorkelling spots only a short walk from the camp ground. The dolphin swim tour operations are strictly limited in regards to the number of people who can visit the dolphins each day to ensure the area is kept clean and the dolphins kept happy. As such we can only fit an absolute max of 20 people on this trip so please sign up as soon as you can if you are interested.
