Myoko is famous for deep powder runs, stunning mountain views, and relaxing hot springs after a full day on the slopes. Perfect for those looking to experience the best of Japan's winter wonderland!

We will be skiing/boarding at two resorts on this trip: Akakura Onsen & Akakura Kanko. It is also possible to ski/board both resorts in one day as they are connected by lifts at the top. The Akakura area is the main, central ski area in Myoko. Akakura Onsen Resort is divided into three main areas: Yodel, Kumado, and Ginrei. It is connected by ski courses to the neighboring Akakura Kanko Resort, together offering 32 varied runs. Night skiing is available every night. From beginner through to expert, there are endless skiing opportunities. From the resort, you can enjoy stunning panoramic views of Lake Nojiri and, in the distance, the Sea of Japan. As expected from Myoko, famous for its heavy snowfall, there are plenty of chances to find excellent powder snow.

Unlike many Japanese ski towns, Akakura has a lively village at the base of the resort, with many shops, restaurants, bars and hot springs to exlore. Our hotel is perfectly located, centrally in the village. The hotel features its own 100% natural indoor and outdoor hot springs to enjoy soaking in after a day on the mountain.
