Join us for a gentle winter walk around Kita Senju, exploring the historic Edo-period post town in northern Tokyo! 👘

Nestled in the Adachi Ward of northern Tokyo, Kita Senju is a district with a rich history as a former Edo-period post town. This atmospheric neighborhood retains a charming, old-school shitamachi vibe that stands in stark contrast to the glitzy areas of central Tokyo like Ginza and Roppongi.

As usual, we'll take a relaxed stroll at an easy pace, focusing on conversation and connection.
Take the chance to go out and make some wonderful memories together:)

Time Schedule:
14:00: Meeting place
14:20: The Site of Yatate Hajime (Starting Point of Matsuo Basho's Travels)
14:40: Shukubamachi-dori Shopping Street
14:50: Stop by at Kadoya: Japanese traditional sweets dumplings (called Dango) shop🍡
15:00: Stop by at Marusen: Yakitori food stall🍗
15:10: Take a stroll around Arakawa river bank
After 15:30: Socializing at a nearby café ☕️ (optional)

なかなか訪れることのない東京の隠れスポットを散策しながら、新たなつながりを作りませんか？
今回は江戸時代の歴史が残る街・北千住駅周辺をご案内します✔️
散歩の途中には甘いもの&しょっぱいものの食べ歩きスポットにも立ち寄ります！

歩くことが好きな方、人と話すのが好きな方、国際交流に興味がある方は大歓迎🌞
イベントでお会いできるのを楽しみにしています！

予定表：
14:00：集合
14:20：千住大橋・奥の細道 矢立初めの地
14:40：宿場町通り商店街
14:50：槍かけ団子「かどや」で甘いもの休憩🍡
15:00：激安焼き鳥屋台「まるせん」でしょっぱいもの休憩🍗
15:10: 荒川土手沿いを散歩
15:30-：解散後、近くのカフェで交流タイム☕️(希望者)

※ミートアップの参加費には、団子屋さん＆焼き鳥屋さんで皆さんそれぞれが注文されるものの代金は含まれておりません。
