私たちについて
[ABOUT]
We’re a Tokyo-based hiking community for weekend ascents of moderate to high mountains in Kanto and nearby ranges (Okutama, Tanzawa, Nikko, Yatsugatake day trips). Focus: safe, steady climbs with great views and good company. Fit beginners welcome; some events will be intermediate to advanced.
[WHAT TO EXPECT]
Weekend hikes with 800–1,500 m elevation gain; occasional longer days or alpine starts
Small groups, steady pace, plenty of photo and water breaks
Clear route briefs, GPX in advance, contingency plans
Community vibe: we hike together, look after each other, celebrate at the trail end
[WHO THIS IS FOR]
Active walkers stepping up from low hills to bigger objectives
People who value safety, punctuality, and teamwork
English-friendly crowd; Japanese speakers welcome
[SAFETY AND REQUIREMENTS]
Mandatory gear: hiking shoes with grip, layered clothing, rain jacket, headlamp, 1.5–2 L water, snacks/food, personal meds
Strongly recommended: trekking poles, gloves, sunscreen, hat, portable battery, basic first aid
Weather first: routes or dates may change for rain, storms, or heat. The organizer may turn back early if conditions or pace require.
[TYPICAL SCHEDULE]
Early meetup at a major station → train or carpool → trailhead briefing and warm-up
Ascent with regular breaks → summit time and photos → careful descent
Optional onsen or café stop after the hike
