Toronto Babel × Tororo Language Exchange presents: Japan Night!

A Nippon-inspired cultural and language exchange, turning Madison Ave Pub into a Japanese-inspired space where the lights, music, and energy transport you straight to the heart of Tokyo, Japan. Whether you’re here to practice Japanese or join our regular language exchange for other languages, everyone is welcome to come, connect, and enjoy the night.

Get ready for J-Pop and Anime Music playing all night long, fun board games, and a special Anime Cosplay Contest 🎶🎲

Guests are encouraged to dress up as their favorite anime characters (or come in Tokyo street-wear) and fully lean into the theme. We’ll be offering small prizes for the best cosplay costumes, so bring the creativity and have fun with it 🏆

They host mixed-gender events on Mondays and women-only events on Fridays, focusing on group conversations in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Through language and cultural exchange, Tororo aims to create a safe and welcoming space where people can make friends comfortably.
