Come share a delicious vegan meal, learn useful Japanese and English, and meet new people at Scent Gallery Café Mikayama!

This time, our theme is rice 🍚 Enjoy a cooking demonstration and pick up practical cooking vocabulary and hospitality expressions in both languages. Then we’ll eat together, chat, and enjoy cute animal visuals created live by a video artist.
We’ll finish with a one-minute video about farmed animals—a brief chance to reflect on where our food comes from and our relationship with animals.
Everyone is welcome, whether you’re vegan, curious about plant-based food, learning Japanese or English, or simply looking to make friends. Come solo or bring a friend!

おいしいヴィーガンごはんを囲みながら、日本語と英語で交流しませんか？
今回のテーマは「お米」🍚
料理のデモンストレーションを楽しみながら、料理やおもてなしに役立つ日本語・英語の表現を学びます。その後は、みんなでごはんを食べながら、ゆっくりおしゃべりしましょう！
食事中は、映像アーティストによるかわいい動物たちのVJ映像も楽しめます。
最後には、畜産動物についての1分間の映像を上映します。食べる楽しさを入り口に、食べものの背景や動物との関わりについて、少しだけ考えてみませんか？
ヴィーガンの方も、興味がある方も、語学を練習したい方も大歓迎。お一人でも、お友達と一緒でも、お気軽にご参加ください！
