私たちについて
Welcome to Weavers of the Web, where we seek to create a space for the Lansing pagan community to learn from and connect with each other. Our aim is to provide the connection and social support that other mainstream faiths get from their churches, so that none need ever be alone.
Our regular event calendar includes discussion/teaching groups, Sabbat rituals, game and craft nights, psychic fairs, festivals and more. All levels and paths are welcome. Some events are donation-based, while others have a nominal fee. All funds go toward our operating expenses and our goal of purchasing property for a permanent Lansing pagan community temple.
During this time of social distancing, we are working on a variety of online options to keep our community connected and cared for. Our Wednesday night discussion groups are on Zoom with livestreaming on YouTube and recordings and handouts available to Patreon subscribers. We have informal social time before and after these events. Regular rituals are available in SecondLife on Sacred Cauldron, home of the Woolston-Steen Theological Seminary where our HPs Solinox Silverstar teaches. You can also join us on our Discord server for general community chat.
We are continually looking to improve our online offerings. If there's something you'd like to see, just let us know.

Weaving the Web: Altars
Weavers of the Web, ATC, 809 Center St #7, Lansing, MI, USJoin us in-person or online for our weekly Community Night: an open, cross-tradition discussion space where we learn, share, and build community together. We gather every Wednesday evening for discussion, meditation, ritual nights, and more, with time to socialize before and after.
This week's topic: Altars
It's one of the first things anybody tells you to do on this path: "Set up an altar." But what does that even mean? How do you do it? In this discussion, we're getting practical about one of the most foundational tools in spiritual practice. We'll look at altars as spiritual technology: how they accumulate power through use, how we set them up in different traditions, and what makes a good altar versus a cluttered flat surface with a candle. We'll also explore permanent vs. portable setups, deity shrines vs. working magickal altars, the basics of elemental representation, and where the altar lives in ritual space. Whether you've never built an altar or you have a whole dedicated ritual room, come ready to think about what your altar can do better for you!For more information and to register, visit our website at https://www.weaversoftheweb.org/event/weaving-the-web-altars-116/register

Green Man Day
Weavers of the Web, ATC, 809 Center St #7, Lansing, MI, USGreen Man Day is our monthly hands-on volunteer day, a practical, friendly work party where we take care of the space and get ready for the season ahead. It started long ago as groundskeeping at our birth space, and it's grown into our regular day to generally reset and improve.
This is a low-pressure, family-friendly volunteer activity. For May, we will be indoors at Weavers of the Web, cleaning up Beltaine and prepping the trailer and things for Welcome Summer Festival, as well as working on maintenance, library, and storage. Weather permitting, we'll also have a crew heading out to the property for spring cleanup!
