From Shimano Bicycles and traditional gunsmithing to Edo-period townhouses, tea culture, and literature🍵
Discover Sakai’s rich history and culture—all in one day✨

We’ll also visit a free traditional crafts center⚔️
Its eye-catching knife chandelier is a must-see and perfect for photos! ✨

We’ll also visit a spectacular observation deck about 80 meters above the ground, historic shrines and temples, and charming old streets👘
As it’s also the season for Shichi-Go-San, you may even catch a glimpse of the festive atmosphere at the shrines⛩️

※The event will be cancelled in case of rain⚠️
In case of cancellation, I will comment by 22:00 p.m. the day before the event.

※The organizer will not be responsible for any accidents or injuries that occur during the event⚠️

As this is an Omakase (leave-it-to-me) tour, I’ll guide you to special spots on the day of the event🥰

① Kansai Culture Day✨
A special event this weekend only!
Enjoy free admission to 5 sites, worth ¥1,500 in total🥰

🚲 Discover the history and evolution of bicycles at a museum by Shimano, one of the world’s leading bicycle manufacturers!
Around 500 bicycles, from classic to modern models, are on display✨ (Normally ¥500)

⚔️ Explore the only surviving gunsmith’s workshop from the Edo period, an early Edo-period townhouse & a historic temple school! (3 sites, normally ¥700)

🍵 Discover the tea culture shaped by Sen no Rikyū & the literary world of Akiko Yosano! (Normally ¥300)

② Explore Sakai, a City with World Heritage Sites🌏
Known as one of Japan’s leading cities for traditional craftsmanship, Sakai is especially famous for its cutlery🔪
At a free traditional crafts center, the eye-catching knife chandelier is a must-see and perfect for photos!✨

We’ll also enjoy spectacular views of Daisenryo Kofun, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, from an observation deck, visit historic shrines and temples, and stroll through charming old streets👘
As it’s also the season for Shichi-Go-San, you may even catch a glimpse of the festive atmosphere at the shrines⛩️
