Welcome to the San Diego Wine Fanatics Meetup Group.

We are currently looking for a new Organizer and hosts that can help Tony and I to get this group back to having wine events in both North and San Diego areas.

Awhile back, Tony asked me to merge his Wine Fanatics Group under me to cut costs while we try to re-group and find some help with management.

I have my own Meetup Group, so I do not have time currently to run Wine Fanatics and my group at the same time.

If you are interested in becoming an Organizer, or you just want to help out with hosting events, please contact Tony or myself thru the Meetup app.

We are *not* a wine tasting or aficionado group (though there are exceptions).  What we are is a wine drinking group that meets at least once a month to check out local wine bars and wineries (sensitive palates welcome, but not required).

Our group consists of anyone who enjoys wine and making new friends. We welcome singles and couples, young and old (well at least 21 I guess). We encourage you to come make new friends or visit with old ones in a comfortable atmosphere.

Our plan is to make each and every person feel welcome in the group. I'd like to to find at least one new wine bar/tasting room a month that we can visit. Suggestions are welcome.

We explore just about every neighborhood in San Diego between La Mesa and Point Loma and Del Mar to Down Town. Up North, includes as far South in Encinitas and as far North as Oceanside, were I live.
