'Tis the Fall hiking season! Let's have an afternoon hike for a change and then have dinner.

Mono Cliffs is one of the best in the region for Fall colours viewing and is already at 50% colour change and minimal leaf fall, which means we can anticipate some great views over Thanksgiving weekened!

Midway through our hike we'll stop for a snack and sit on a rock platform admiring the Fall viewes.

Afterward, we have a few options - a local brewery where some of us can have a beer tasting, others eat OR a local restaurant.

Cost all-in: *Not Included: Brewery or restaurant

• Passengers pay $20, this includes entry fee to the park, gas for the drive (organizer coordinates carpool) and hike with hiking buddies new and old.
• Drivers pay $12 and are reimbursed for gas costs at the end by the organizer.
• There might be a small adjustment (not higher) to the above based on number of passengers in each car.

*Costs above help with meetup dues and the time required to research and plan successful events.

📅 Hike Details:

• 12-14 km moderate hike, about 4 km an hour. We may divide the group into 2, with one group walking faster and doing a longer route. This has worked before.
• If you like a leisurely stroll this hike is likely not for you, we will not stop constantly for photos but we will stop at key views to enjoy our surroundings and to explore.

Carpool: Meet at 10:4am, depart *11am* am sharp. We will carpool to the hike start point, meeting at Kipling Subway Station, passenger pick-up area.
Return Times: This is a full day event, planning to return to Toronto by 9pm including having dinner. If anyone wants to leave right after the hike, please let me know *in advance* so I can accommodate "if possible."

RSVP: To move to the “Going” list, you must answer all RSVP questions:

1. What is your cell number? (private – only organizer sees this)
2. What are your transportation preferences?
   A. Passenger at carpool
   B. Driver at carpool (my own car, can take x passengers)
   C. Prefer passenger, but can drive x passengers if needed
   D. Driver but meet at location (preference given to those who can take passengers from carpool)

'Tis the Fall hiking season! Forks of the Credit is known to be beautiful in the Fall and one of my favourites! We'll hike to Cataract Falls, with a journey through forest and meadow along the way.

Midway through our hike we'll take a break beside the Credit River.

We'll stop at a local country market after that Rebecca (organizer) has found to continue to socialize where there should be something for everyone: beer, snacks, butter tarts, a full meal and fresh produce for home!

Carpool: Meet at 8:30 am, depart *8:45* am sharp. We will carpool to the hike start point, meeting at Victoria Park Subway Station, passenger pick-up area. Let's have an east end pickup for a change!
Return Times: This is a full day event, planning to return to Toronto by 6pm including visiting the farm store. If anyone needs to leave right after the hike, please let me know *in advance so I can accommodate if possible.
