UFO Hunt
Middle Meadow Walk, Edinburgh, GBRide summary:
We'll head out toward Dalmeny to join the railway path through Kirkliston to Newbridge. We'll follow the shared use path along the A89 before turning off onto the Shale Trail, cycle along the Brox Burn to Uphall, then back onto the A89 to Dechmont Woods, where we'll follow the trails to the memorial to the Livingston Incident. If we don't track down any UFOs we should be compensated by the view from the top of Dechmont Law, where we'll stop for a picnic lunch. We'll join the Nell Burn Path to Eliburn Reservoir, before turning back along the Almond River, through Almond Park and Almondell Country Park, continue toward and over the canal, and under the Almond Valley Railway Viaduct to get back onto the A89 toward Edinburgh. We'll return to the Meadows via Ingliston, the tram line and Roseburn Park.
