Meditation for Spiritual Awareness Meetups are open to people of all faiths and backgrounds, and all meditation practices. Whether you are starting out and want to explore this further, or have been meditating for years, these meet-ups aim at increasing our understanding of the technique and improving our practices.
People have been practicing meditation for centuries. Today we see a surge in its popularity as new benefits continue to be discovered. Meditation has been proven to benefit both our bodies and minds. Many are now realizing an additional advantage — the tremendous benefits spiritual meditation has for our soul.
Regions of Light that embrace souls with a powerful love await each one of us within. Sights and sounds beyond anything we could ever imagine reside within us. Incredible music, far beyond any that can be produced by worldly instruments, is reverberating at every moment, these meet-ups aim at increasing our understanding of the technique and improving our practices.
Does it Cost Anything to Learn this Meditation?
Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj says like all other gifts of nature, spirituality is free. He teaches meditation free of charge, and programs sponsored by Science of Spirituality are also free.
Do I Need to Learn Yoga in Order to Meditate?
Unlike some forms of yoga, this meditation technique does not involve difficult practices or rigorous postures. We can meditate when sitting in any pose that is comfortable, in which we can sit still for an extended period of time. Meditation on the inner Light and Sound is so simple it can be practiced by anyone.
Can we Remain in Our Religion and Practice this Meditation?
The spiritual teachers of this path never advocate that we change our religion or withdraw from the world to practice meditation. In fact, a hallmark of this path is positive mysticism, the belief that we should fulfill our duties and obligations to our families and societies while pursuing our spiritual goals.
