Korean Immersion Tour with Jooyeon (July 25)

This is a language tour for everyone who wants to improve their Korean skills in a fully immersive environment. On this tour, you will talk with me ONLY in Korean for 4 hours while doing various activities.

Recommended Level:
We recommend that you have at least an intermediate level of spoken Korean in order to get the most out of this opportunity.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

• 3 students (you!) + 1 teacher (Jooyeon)

• We'll walk, have coffee or lunch, take public transport and go somewhere or do some activities. It depends on what all three people want to do.

• We will speak ONLY IN KOREAN for 4 hours.

• You will receive various simple missions to accomplish in Korean.

WHY WILL THIS BE USEFUL?

You learn best when you have a reason to learn. And even if you study hard, if you don't put yourself in challenging and motivating situations from time to time, you will find yourself hitting a plateau for a long time.

How many hours a week do you really put into practicing your Korean?

If you really think about it, the amount of time that you actually get to spend forming new sentences and feeling that positive pressure to express your ideas in Korean might not be less than a couple of hours a week or even month.

Through this tour, you can challenge yourself, test yourself, learn new phrases, have experiences that will help that new knowledge stick, and also generally have a good time speaking Korean.

WHAT SHOULD I PREPARE?

For the tour itself, you don't have to prepare anything, but once you sign up and while you are waiting for the tour date to come around, please write down the things you are comfortable saying and some things that you are not so comfortable saying in Korean. You can of course think of questions on the spot spontaneously, but if you bring questions that were bothering you before, this is a good opportunity to learn a lot of things that will be directly useful to you. But other than that, just be ready to enjoy the tour!
