We are back. Now that covid restrictions are winding down, we have returned to the Meetup community. We want to enjoy life and each other's company.
There will be a $1 Meetup fee for each event, unless otherwise noted on the event.
Getting together with friends, old and new, for dining and other activities that interest us. Some activities might be movies, miniature golf, wine tastings, breakfasts, brunches, lunches, dinners, day bus trips or whatever we decide.
Welcoming 50 - 95 age group, single or married, ladies or gentlemen.
Centered around Freehold, NJ but will generally meet between Old Bridge and Lakewood on the Rt. 9 corridor, branching out east and west a few miles each way.
Prefer warm, fun, happy, people-loving-people. Let's be a family of friends. Be honest and be nice. Respect and enjoy our time together and it will be a good idea to avoid hot topics such as politics, race or religion.
KEEP YOUR RSVP'S CURRENT. NO SHOWS WILL NOT BE INVITED BACK.

$2.00 Meetup fee payable to host at event
Nostalgia? Did you eat there as a kid on special occasions? Their food has evolved over the years to include many healthy options and of course ICE CREAM!
Most of you know I love and miss my Friendly's in Old Bridge. But there is still one in Toms River, just south of the Ocean County Mall. I eat there every once in a while, and it's small but fine.
I called and they are still open for business and looking forward to serving us.
Please join me. I miss my fried clams! But they have many other items on their menu, plus, of course, lots of yummy ice cream.

Remember their motto: "SAVE ROOM FOR ICE CREAM"! - Lunch at Woody's Roadside TavernWoody's Roadside Tavern, Farmingdale, NJ
$2.00 Meetup fee.
Rustic Local Historical Tavern: Woody’s Tavern is located in a historic building in Farmingdale, NJ. At one time it was called The Farmingdale House and people traveled great distances to dine there. Twenty years ago, it opened as Woody’s Roadside Tavern – and the rest as they say… is history.
They often have a band starting at 3 pm on Sundays and we can move outside to be closer if we choose, weather permitting, or we can stay inside in the AC.Menus | Woodys Road Side Tavern in Farmingdale, NJ
My personal favorites: their cauliflower thin crust pizza and the double filet mignons on toast, but many great choices.
