Let's go to Namhae and Somaemuldo and Geoje trip on June 5-8, 2014 during 3 day's hoidays.
During Memorial day's 3 day weekend, we will go dwon to beautiful southern
beaches and cities called Namhae and Geoje Island and Somaemuldo.
We will go there by my car and Usman's car, so we need 9 people to travel together.

The Mt. Geum is a miracle mountain where Taejo Lee Seong-gye built Joseon Dynasty after 100 days of prayer.
As it looks like the entire mountain is covered with a silk, Mt. Bogwang was renamed as Mt. Geum. There’s Boriam, the one of three player spot of our country, which Great Master Wonhyo established, and the sunrise of Mt. Geum is more than the words can express.
2.Namhae Bridge - Namhae´s 2nd attraction

The Namhae Bridge, which was established in June 22, 1973, is a 660m long beautiful suspension bridge, which connects Namhae-gun and Hadong-gun.
This is where Lee Sun-Sin´s Battle of Noryang was and the sunset between the islands is spectacular and the cherry tree roads are beautiful in the spring.
All five bridges present unique characteristics as it were made of different construction methods.
3.Sangju Eunmorae(Silver) beach- Namhae´s 3rd attraction

The Sangju Beach with a magnificent view of Mt. Geum as a background is the most beautiful getaway spot in south coast. The sand beach along the circular ocean beach where natural trees and rocks defense the waves! The Sangju Beach with the nation’s best sand is wooded with 100 years old pines so it has been spotlighted as the summer vacation spot.
The Sangju Beach, which is 22km south from Namhae-eup, has easy sand slop and high water temperature, so it has the best qualities as vacation spot for families with children. Jump into the water of Sangju after a walk at Mt. Geum
4.Changseon Bridge- Namhae´s 4th attraction

The red pretty Changseon Bridge along with bamboo weirs is fabulous. The Changseon Bridge is established on Jijok Strait where high and low tide goes out and was opened on December 20, 1995 as a 440 m cable-stayed concrete bridge, which connects Changseon-myeon and Samdong-myeon.

Darangi Field of Gacheon Village

Darangi Field of Gacheon Village on the sightseeing road of southern coast is a popular driving course in Namhae.
This is a narrow and long stairs type rice paddy cultivated from a steep mountain slope, which faces the blue sea. This symbolizes the diligence of Namhae people and you can feel the unique atmosphere of the island. (Scenic No. 15)
10.Mulgeonbangjoeobu Forest - Namhae´s 10th attraction

A semi-circular dense forest with a million trees, as a windbreak forest on 1.5km beach in Mulgeon-ri, Samdong-myeon, is forming magnificent sight.
The Mongdol coast with forest has a unique style. (National Monument No. 150)
12.Changseon-Samcheonpo grand Bridge - Namhae´s 12th attraction

The Changseon-Samcheonpo grand Bridge, which became Korea´s top tourist attraction established in April 28, 2003, is 3.4km long bridge, which connected 3 islands by 5 bridges between Changseon Island and Samcheonpo in Namhae.
German Village ★★★:
This Korean hamlet (what does this mean? Hamlet?) is the only one that looks like a real German village. It was built for Koreans who had gone to Germany in the 1960s seeking work and later Korean-Germans had returned. The architecture of the houses is German-style, and even the construction materials were imported from Germany. From here, one can enjoy both the mountains and the sea, as the village faces east toward the coast. The sunrise over Mulgeonhang Port lighthouse is definitely worth a visit.

Even Better than Daraengi Village! Seongu Village is a Hidden Jewel!

a As we drove along the coastal road, Frederic suddenly wanted us to stop the car. His request to stop in front of Seongu Village was surprising since it wasn’t a particularly well-known tourist site. But when we saw the village, we understood. This fishing village was even more beautiful than Daraengi. In fact, while Daraengi Village is on the coast, it is more an agricultural village known for its rice. On the other hand, Seongu Village follows the traditions of a fishing community, combining both agriculture and fishing. With a few boats always anchored at a small wharf, the village has a long history and still preserves its ancient folk customs. If you’d like to see genuine island traditions, visit this village. Note: the 4.5 hour hiking trail from Seongu to Daraengi offers the best view of Hallyeo Haesang Maritime National Park. Please be aware that this is not an easy trail.

Somaemuldo Island is only one of its kinds that harmonize with bizarre rocks around the deep blue sea island. It is one of the eight famous scenic spots of Tongyeong. "Deungdaeseom seen from somaemuldo Island". The islands of Somaemuldo and Deungdaeseom, boasts of stratified bluffs and fantastic rock formations. People can walk from one island to another at low tide. Yongbawi (Dragon Rock), Buchudae Bawi (Buddha Rock), Geobuk Bawi (Turtle Rock), Chotdae Bawi (Candlestick Rock), and Geulssinggigul Cave are absolutely perfect masterpieces sculptured by the masculine hands of nature. Other attraction spot to introduce; when watching somaemuldo Island from Deungdaeseom, the entire rock formed with bizarrely-shaped rocks has a mammoth-sized sitting dinosaur shape which is another must-see-spot you shouldn't miss.
