Hillbillies

Well for those of you that don’t know this, it’s a beauty, a great walk and easy 🤔 ish scramble that is well within the limits of most Hillbillies, so come along and enjoy a real fun day out 😎

Meet at shore opposite Glencoyne Bay NT Pay & Display Car Park, CA11 0NQ.
Car Park fills quickly in good weather, note early start!

Start Time on the water 08:30 am ⏰. Allow good time to park-up, pump-up and launch on the water! 🚣‍♀️

Delightful 10 - 12 miles on Ullswater Lake.
Weather dependent event (low wind and good visibility) for paddlers with experience, a suitable Paddle board, Kayak or Canoe and a Life-Jacket or Buoyancy Aid.
Route takes in Silver Bay, Sandwick Bay and Aira Green for picnic lunch. Return via Norfolk Island and Glenridding route.
If the weather is bad the event will be cancelled and rescheduled possibly for the following weekend.

Drinks and Food option at the end 😋.
Bring well maintained paddle craft including buoyancy aid, food, water and lots of smiles 😊.

A walk just over 11 miles from Etherow Country Park, taking in Hackingknife, Idle Hill and Hollywood End.

Meet at Grassington, Dales National Car Park, BD23 5LB.
Start Time 09:50 am ⏰.

Delightful 30ish miles on scenic, quiet country lanes, 'B' road and Abbey estate tracks (about a mile of walking with bike) 🚶‍♂️.
Easy relaxed pace, some moderate hills that can be walked or ridden depending on ability 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️🚵‍♀️🚵‍♂️.
Route takes in River Wharfe valley, AppleTreeWick, Bolton Abbey Estate (Free entry for cyclists), and the picturesque village of Linton.
Lunch at Bolton Abbey with plenty of time to relax on river bank, visit Priory, ice cream and 'stepping stones'. 🍰☕🍨
Return via Embsay, Cracoe and Linton village.

Drinks and Food option at the end, Grassington Village 😋.
Bring well maintained bike, food, water and lots of smiles 😊.
Cycle lock handy for extended stops. 🔐👍
Spare inner tube indispensable. 🚴‍♂️
