Hi, I'm Kyungyoon Kang — and I want to personally welcome Americans and international friends living in Seoul.
I lived in the United States for 17 years, studying, working, serving in churches, and building community across Indiana, Texas, Colorado, and California. I know what it’s like to live far from home — to look for a place where faith feels real, people feel genuine, and church feels familiar.
My theological education has been shaped both in the United States and Korea. I am currently studying Master of Divinity at **Duke University**, where my theology study is based in the Methodist Christian tradition, Also, I am currently pursuing Master of Divinity at **Methodist Theological University, Korea**. My academic focus integrates theology, pastoral ministry, and spiritual formation, with a heart for cross-cultural discipleship and biblically grounded preaching.
Over the years, I have served in English-speaking congregations, multicultural ministries, and leadership roles focused on teaching Scripture, mentoring young adults, and building Christ-centered communities.
**Itaewon Christian Worship** has been created for people like you — English speakers from the U.S., Europe, and around the world who want Christ-centered worship, clear biblical teaching, and a welcoming community in Seoul.
