Did you join us on January 24th? Even though we met for the first time, sharing our goals and bucket lists created such a warm and fun vibe! Seeing strangers genuinely cheering for each other’s dreams was truly beautiful. Joyful Hub will keep rooting for you so that the amazing things we talked about become reality this February! 🙌
So, we’re keeping that good energy rolling on Saturday, February 14th! Guess what? The date is super special this time. It’s a rare double celebration where Korea’s biggest holiday, Lunar New Year (Seollal), meets Valentine’s Day! (What are the odds?!)
Most people in Seoul head to their hometowns, making the city a bit quieter, but we’re going to fill that silence with our own stories. Let’s make some sweet and chewy memories together over delicious chocolates and Tteok (rice cakes)!
✨ A Little Note About Our Space Our gathering spot is a bit special. On Sundays, this space operates as a peaceful church cafe! (Ta-da!) That’s why you might feel a warm, welcoming vibe in every corner—like someone’s always cheering you on.
But don’t worry! Whether you have a religion or not, or wherever you come from—it doesn’t matter at all. We just genuinely want to know YOU as a person and hope your life in Korea isn’t lonely. Our doors are wide open with pure intentions! (For real!)
Even when you feel burnt out or hit a slump, remember us. Happiness might just be sharing a cup of tea and chatting about everyday life. Let’s be happy together!

🧧 1. Lunar New Year (Seollal) Stories Seollal is Korea’s biggest holiday! What about your country?

• 1-1. Tteokguk = +1 Age? 🍲 In Korea, you have to eat Tteokguk (rice cake soup) to officially turn a year older. Does your country have any food or customs believed to bring luck or hold special meaning?
• 1-2. Bowing for Money? 💰 Korean kids bow (Sebae) to elders and receive pocket money. I’m curious if your country has any cute customs like this!
• 1-3. My Family’s Biggest Holiday 🗓️ Seollal is huge in Korea. What is the loudest, most important holiday in your hometown?

[초대] 2월 14일, 함께 '설날'이랑 '발렌타인' 이야기해요! 🍫🧧
지난 1월 24일에 저희가 먼저 한 번 모였었거든요? 그때 처음 보는 분들끼리 모여서 서로의 올해 목표랑 버킷리스트를 나눴는데, 그 시간이 정말 따뜻하고 즐거웠던거 있죠!!! 낯선 사이인데도 서로의 꿈을 진심으로 응원해 주던 모습들이 너무 예쁘기도 했구요. 그날 나누었던 멋진 일들이 이번 2월에 하나둘씩 꼭 현실이 되길 우리 Joyhub가 계속 응원하고 함께 할게욥!!!!
그래서 이번 2월 14일 토요일에도 그 기분 좋은 에너지를 이어가 보려고 합니다앗!!! 정말 신기하게도 이번엔 날짜가 정말 특별하답니다. 한국의 큰 명절인 설날 연휴랑 발렌타인데이가 겹치는 날인 것 있죠?! (대박사건!)
대부분의 가족들이 고향으로 떠나서 조금은 조용한 서울이지만, 저희는 이곳에서 우리만의 이야기를 그려 나가보려 해요. 우리 함께 달콤한 초콜릿과 쫀득한 떡을 먹으며 함께 달콤쫀득한 추억을 만들어봐요!
저희가 모이는 이 공간은 조금 홀리홀리해요.
