Hangeul Day Celebration on October 9th in Gwanghwamun square

Hello. This is an event that is not organized by Seorae Global Village Center. We are posting it for others to see on behalf of the ministry of culture, sports and tourism of Seoul metropolitan government.

To celebrate the 579th anniversary of Hangeul, there will be a celebration at the gwanghwamun square in downtown:

Thursday, October 9th
on Hangeul Day
At 10:00 am

You will be wearing a durumagi, an overcoat worn for the civil service examination in the joseon time.

You will then be doing calligraphy with the guide of an instructor. Friendly competition!
