Join us for another mystical afternoon of tarot, connection, and sunshine in the San Jose Municipal Rose Garden!

Bring a blanket, your lunch, and any spiritual tools that support you on your path—tarot or oracle cards, pendulums, runes, or anything else that feels meaningful. Whether you’re here to reflect, offer readings, ask questions, or just soak in the vibes, you’re welcome.

Schedule:
• 12:15 PM – Opening Circle: We’ll start with a gentle grounding and a moment to connect. Come by this time if you’d like to join the circle.
• 12:30–1:50 PM – Open Space: Hang out, read cards (for yourself or others), chat, relax, and enjoy the garden.
• 1:50 PM – Closing Circle: We’ll end together with some shared reflections and gratitude.

Feel free to arrive late or leave early—this is a flexible, come-as-you-are gathering. Bring your lunch and whatever food you’d like to eat. We’ll be near the Emory Street entrance by the women’s restroom, on the grass close to the path. Look for a wooden altar on the ground to find us.

This is a space for magic, friendship, and wonder. Can’t wait to see you there!

Food for sale includes hot dogs (beef & vegan), Mexican *tinga*, homemade baked goods, jams, and treats. Make a protest sign. Cash and Zelle accepted for purchases. See event details below.

**Against the Grain:** These friends play old-timey and contra dance music. Sharon McCorkell, Susan Goodis, Ann Whitesell, Patti Bossert, and Anita Baldwin will have you tappin’ your toes along with their fiddles, guitar, mandolin, bass, accordion, whistle, and keyboard. **Climate Carnival**: Andrew the Artist says “Step right up” to the games he has created for kids of all ages. The games present fun physical challenges and prompt climate questions and discussions. For “Knock ‘Em Out!,” players toss bean bags at common barriers to sustainability. “The Tipping Tower” will test your knowledge and dexterity. **Song Circle**: Sharon McCorkell (from Against the Grain) leads this activity using the popular folk music book *Rise Up Singing*. All are invited to join in.
**Sign-Making**: Get ready for your next peaceful protest against war or march to protect democracy: Visit our sign-making station. Supplies provided (while they last), donation requested.
**Baked Goods**: Homemade cookies, cake, jam, dried fruit, and other goodies for sale. Get ’em while they last.
**Note**: Bring your water bottle and wear flat shoes for lumpy lawn and uneven pavers.
