Self-acceptance is the practice of recognising and embracing your authentic self, complete with all your strengths and flaws. Self-acceptance is the first step in gaining **unbreakable confidence**. Others may still hurt you, because you are human, but they can't change the essence of who you are, because that's not on the table to negotiate.

It's about being true to yourself. But it doesn't mean you are standing still, because part of self-acceptance is knowing that you are not meant to know it all, and that you will continue to grow and learn.

Imposter syndrome is impossible when you have self-acceptance.

Our relationships with others become happier, because we stop people- pleasing in order to fit in.

And we start living our lives in accordance with our values, rather than acting out of alignment with them.

As Brene Brown says, "**Fitting in is the opposite of belonging**."

The Joy of Self-Acceptance & How to Achieve it

Do you have that sinking feeling about having to confront someone?
Do you avoid instead, then get cross at yourself for not standing your ground?
Behaviours that are not addressed, fester.
They sap your confidence. They affect your body, your spirit and your peace of mind.
I've known people leave a job because of other people's toxic behaviours.
Or put on a persona of 'it doesn't matter, they didn't mean it' just to keep the peace.
You are putting other people's feelings ahead of your own.
You are teaching others that it is okay to continue as they are.
I'll show you a way to address any issue in a positive way that preserves the relationship, gives clarity on YOUR needs whilst still understanding theirs.
You will feel happier, more confident and proud when you start to put this framework into practice.
We will role play a few examples in this session, so bring one along and I will try and pick as many as I can to demo real challenges.

How do I challenge unwanted behaviour - and still keep the relationship?

This is a free virtual gathering showcasing 11+ women speakers worldwide, who will talk about their confidence journeys. Including a TedX speaker, a Podcast host and two female professors, the Build Unbreakable Confidence Global Summit is created to celebrate International Women’s Day 2026, by amplifying real stories of resilience, growth and self-belief.

Taking place on Sunday, 8th March 2026, from 14:00 – 17:00 GMT, we bring together women from around the world to share honest experiences of losing conﬁdence, facing self-doubt and rebuilding their inner strength.

The Summit is a powerful reminder that conﬁdence is not something you either have or don’t have. It’s something you grow, sometimes lose - and can always reclaim. The theme this year is Give to Gain - and giving stories that will help women to gain confidence, seems to fit perfectly.

Through inspiring conversations and lived experiences, this event is designed to empower women to reconnect with their power, embrace their journey and move forward with renewed conﬁdence.

Whether you’re rebuilding, evolving, or simply seeking inspiration, this space exists to remind you that you are not alone and you are unstoppable.
