At InterNations, we believe in the benefits of international experience, cultural exchange, and the power of bringing people together.

InterNations was founded by two friends who realized they experienced the same challenges when living abroad. Finding new friends and sorting out the essentials of daily life, it all felt very nerve-wracking, time-consuming, and disheartening.

So in 2007, they launched a platform where open-minded individuals from different cultures can network, socialize, and find trustworthy information — wherever they are. And within a couple of years, InterNations grew into the largest community for expats worldwide.
