**MEETING LOCATION: We’re meeting at Valley Village park to the left/north of the playground. Westpark Dr and Hesby St.**

**PARKING: Street parking. Parking on Westpark Drive**
**north of Hesby St is best because it’s furthest away from where people let their dogs off leash.**

**WHAT TO BRING: Costumes and festive gear! Water for you and your dog. We will do some mental exercises and there will be lots of distractions and stimuli, so bring Iots of high value treats for your pup, too. Lights and high vis gear to be seen in the dark as the sun sets earlier.**

**PACK WALK DISTANCE: About 2.5 - 3 miles round trip.**

**TRAIL: Mix of paved, dirt path and grass.**

**DIFFICULTY: Easy**

**DISTRACTION LEVEL: There's the usual- other park visitors, other dogs, birds, squirrels, an “unofficial off-leash” dog section, etc. We will even go by the school farm to see chickens, ducks, sheep and pigs from behind a fence.**

**LARPBO PACK WALK GUIDELINES:**
**#1 All dogs must be on a secure collar and leash. Dogs using e-collars must also be on a leash. Prong collars, slip leads and head halters should be backed up with a carabiner. Short leashes are recommended (less than 6 feet). Retractable leashes and harnesses are not allowed as they provide little control.**
**#2 PLEASE NO NOSE TO NOSE CONTACT (dog to dog that is). Always maintain a six-foot distance between dogs. There should be no dog-on-dog interaction.**
**#3 Please bring doggie poo bags.**
**#4 Make sure you bring water for you and your dog.**
**#5 One dog per handler. No exceptions!**
**#6 Share the road. Move to the right to let others pass.**

* **All breeds welcome.**
* **There will be foot traffic, bikes, and several others dogs. If your dog tends to be reactive to any of these distractions, please be EXTRA mindful and prepared.**
* **If you have additional questions, please read the full basic LARPBO rules of conduct https://www.larpbo.org/faqs-4**
