Hey guys 👋

If you're looking to **reduce social anxiety** and **make new friends** over **brunch** you're very welcome to come to the event at **11am** on **Sunday** the **16th** of **November** at **The** **Plough** in Harborne Birmingham (**B17** **9NT**) 😀

At the event we will create a safe non-judgemental space where you can freely socialise as well as share anything that's bothering you so you go away feeling lighter.

I've chosen brunch at the Plough in Harborne because it has a nice atmosphere, it's not as pricey as an evening meal there and it's good to keep things fresh 😀

This Meetup will take place in the **Medicine Bakery Bar in the Mailbox** from **12 noon until 1:30pm on Sunday the 23rd of November** ☕ 🙂

Social fears can really limit us, hold us back from truly connecting with people and also block us from moving upwards in life. Your fears are also very nuanced as they're tied to you as an individual and your past experiences.

In this small group event, we will create a safe, non-judgemental and supportive space for you to talk about one or more of your social fears and through the discussion we will leave you feel empowered to take action reducing your fear and will also give you practical steps💪🙂

This format of getting your fears out there, being listened to and having us break it down and create practical steps to tackle it works for a lot of people so hopefully can help out some more people at this Meetup :)

How to Overcome Your Social Fears :)

Hey guys :)

Excited about **November's 2pm** event, which is a coffee social where I will make sure everyone is included in the conversation and feels welcome :)

You've probably heard the phrase "a problem shared is a problem halved" and you intuitively know that getting things which are bothering you off your chest puts you in a better mood for socialising.

The format of this social is, therefore, to first take turns calling out of current fears and challenges in a supportive and non-judgemental space, and then to allow the conversation to unfold in the way it's supposed to.

Since I coach people on overcoming social anxiety and building confidence speaking, I will encourage but never pressure you to be present within the group and speak when you feel the impulse to speak without interrupting others.

The outcome of this event is that you will feel more secure in yourself when joining conversations, you will feel less held back by your current challenges and you might make a new friend or two :)

The Meetup will take place in **Café Mal**, which is at the **front of the Mailbox (side closest to New Street Station) which is underneath the main bar in the Malmaison**.

Also, feel free to **bring a friend along with you** and let's make it a good experience!
