**Sunday Afternoon Hike & Hangout – Homestead and Mesa Trail**

Join us for a refreshing Sunday afternoon hike on May 4th at 4pm! We’ll explore the beautiful Homestead and Mesa Trail loop—a scenic 3.3-mile path with mild elevation gain, perfect for getting some fresh air, light exercise, and good conversation. Whether you’re looking to connect with new people or just unwind in nature, this is a great chance to do both.

We’ll meet at the **South Mesa Trailhead**.

Parking is free for Boulder County residents, or $5 for non-residents. Bring water, comfy shoes, and your friendly vibes!

(The parking lot is often very full on the weekend - you might want to arrive early to find a spot. Parking is available along Eldorado Springs Drive if needed - event is also weather dependent. I will make an announcement if there is an issue.)

Has it been a while since you sat down and listened to music? Like, really listened? When’s the last time music affected your day in an awesome way?

Listening to music hit me hard in the car the other day, and it inspired me to hold a music appreciation night. There are a few tunes I’d like to share with the world, as well as my appreciation for cool percussion instruments.

No musical experience necessary, just bring your affinity for it. Feel free to bring a blanket too, for coziness.

Show & Tell (for Adults!)

Welcome to the \*\*Yoga Nidra and Himalayan Singing Bowls\*\* event at Ondaki Chiropractic! Join us on Thursday, April 10th for a rejuvenating experience led by Mariah Lauritsen. We will begin with a 30 minute Yoga Nidra practice to connect with our bodies and breath. Once we have gone through the Nidra, Mariah will play the singing bowls to aid in energetic cleansing and deep relaxation.

Yoga Nidra, also known as "yogic sleep," is a relaxation technique rooted in the practice of yoga. It involves lying in a comfortable position (typically Savasana, or corpse pose) while following a guided script that focuses on different parts of the body and aspects of consciousness.

Benefits include:
Deep relaxation and stress reduction, Improved sleep quality, Enhanced self-awareness and introspection, Increased creativity and intuition, and Emotional healing and release.

This event is open to all. No experience with either Yoga Nidra or Himalayan singing bowls is necessary. It is recommended that you bring a yoga mat and any other materials that would make you comfortable (pillow/blankets etc).
