Make Songpyeon (송편 the rice cake for Chuseok) with locals in Guri–Namyangju, taste fresh seasonal pears, enjoy homemade plum tea, and connect through Korean warmth and culture. 🌿
Join us for Bites & Bonds #2, a cozy cultural meetup where foreigners and Koreans come together to share food, stories, and genuine connections in Guri–Namyangju, just outside Seoul.
- 🍚 Learn to make Songpyeon (松片) — the traditional Korean rice cake for Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving).
- 🍐 Taste Meokgol Pear, a local specialty from Guri, perfectly in season this month.
- 🍵 Enjoy homemade plum tea, crafted by a local mother who grows and harvests her own plums in the countryside.
After cooking, we’ll gather around the table to share our food, talk, and build friendships — a warm cultural and language exchange experience you won’t forget.
