Welcome to Golden Friends Meetup Group! We are a group of guys & gals who love to have fun and make social connections.
Humans rely on one another for survival. Social connection is as essential to humanity as food, water and shelter. Let's take the opportunity to eat delicious food, enjoy a good drink, play games, explore cultural activities, and embark on adventures together.
Join us for a mix of socializing, dining, mind refreshing activities, positive & uplifting conversation and exploring San Diego, remembering that behind every new acquaintance is a potential friend!
In support of the Golden Friends Meetup page, the Organizer will ask for a $5 donation when an event is held at a restaurant. This donation secures your seat at the table and allows us to give the restaurant a precise headcount to our group. Otherwise, all other events will be at no charge!
DISCLAIMER / AGREEMENT
This Disclaimer is a formal Agreement, similar to a liability waiver, that members implicitly agree to when joining and participating in the Golden Friends Meetup group events and activities.
- Statement of No Liability: The Organizer, Co-Organizer, or Representatives are not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to persons or property. The members acknowledge and release the Organizer, Co-Organizer, or Leaders from responsibility for any injury, loss or damage related to Golden Friends Meetup group functions.
- Member Responsibility: Members participating in any Golden Friends Meetup Events understand and agree that they are voluntarily participating in activities at their own risk and accept the potential dangers involved, such as those inherent in activities like group outings. The members assume all risks and liabilities related to or resulting from Golden Friends Meetup group activities.
- Third-Party Protection: This Agreement extends to third parties, such as guests, family members and/or pets accompanying a member.

The Shakespeare Pub is an authentic British Pub that was established in August of 1990 and is both owned and operated by British Ex-Pats.
Bring a wrapped gift to the party for the gift exchange and let's have some fun! Not into fish? That's ok. Shakespeare serves up traditional British fare including hamburgers, vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. There's something for everyone!
There is no fee required to join this Golden Friends event nor is there a value placed on the gift you will bring with you. Be kind. Be thoughtful. Think of how you would feel receiving that gift.
