Golden Friends Meetup in Sicily 2027

As Rick Steeves says, "Travel broadens the mind." Marty is an Italian native and Travel Director. In May 2027 we will be traveling with a small group of Golden Friends through the Island of Sicily for ten days — before the summer heats up!

We will meet in Palermo on May 5th. We will walk together through the Downtown streets of the capitol and eat cannoli and gelato! We will visit the Norman Castle with a local guide, the Four Corners and the popular and amazing street markets! We will walk the enchanting Greek Temples of Agrigento which are unmatched anywhere! Relax in Cefalu and enjoy the local cuisine and go for an evening stroll along the boardwalk with a gelato in hand. Visit the Greek Amphitheate in Taormina and bathe in the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean. We will visit the exquisite Cathedral of Siracuse which beginnings date back prior to the Romans. The best companion to a trip like this is a real Italian! There’s a lot of walking going on!
