Korean Street Food 🇰🇷 🍜 & Vintage Markets Day 🛍️ // LAUNCH EVENT! 🚀✨

Join us at our second club LAUNCH EVENT 🚀 as we enjoy good Korean street food at Gwangjang Traditional Market, followed by tteokbokki and vintage shopping at the nearby Dongmyo Markets! 🇰🇷 🍜 🛍️ ✨

PART 1 🌟
Gwangjang Market is an indoor Korean street food market with many traditional and more contemporary options.
We will decide together what we want to eat and might break up into a few smaller groups depending on how large the group is or what food people want 😊

PART 2 🌟
Dongmyo Market is a very large vintage market stretching over an entire neighborhood with many indoor and outdoor vendors, selling a wide range of vintage clothes and other items.
We'll check out a tteokbokki street vendor for a quick snack (a place that went viral a few years ago and Thom's second favourite tteokbokki in the whole of Korea), before spending a nice afternoon exploring the markets together.

The weather is expected to be a little warmer than usual for this time of year 🌞 but if it ends up being bad weather we will switch to an indoor venue instead of Dongmyo 🌧️

Meet us at Gwangjang Markets at street level just outside of Exit 7 of Jongno 5(o)-ga Subway Station (Line 1) - please don't get it confused with the other Jongno stations!

There is no event fee, but attendees will need to pay for their own food and other purchases 💸

SCHEDULE
⏰ 10:50 - 11:10am = meet at the subway exit, say hello.
⏰ 11:10 - around 12:45 = check out the markets together, share a meal together 🍴😊 🇰🇷
⏰ 1:00 - 4:00pm = move just 2 subway stations to Dongmyo Vintage Markets, enjoy tteokbokki, do some shopping and exploring together 🛍️

(many vendors at the markets are indoors, but if it ends up being too cold or if the weather is bad we will have a backup indoor plan, such as an art gallery or museum in the area)
