A book-discussion event for "Unnie" by Yun-Yun (2024), a novel dealing with the "Sewol" ferry disaster of 2014.

HOW THE EVENT WORKS: The "gathering time" is like a "doors open" time and the start-time for the event. Attendees begin arriving at 6:30pm but everyone's schedule differs so don't worry if you can only make it by 7:30pm. Momentum builds towards the event between 6:30 and 7:30. Pre-event banter, snacks, drinks, and/or (according to taste) some looking around of our spacious space's book collection!

The venue is our private space on our Thursday gathering-days.

The main discussion starts at 7:30 and ends at 9:00. Those who wish to continue discussing will continue in the space as early-departers leave. By or before about 9:45pm, the remnants of the gathering clear out of the building. Some people who wish to, head head to a "second round" near Jongno3ga Station Exit 7/8...

ENTRY FEE:
There is no entry fee or other such requirements to join this event. We DO ask that you have read the book, can discuss it in English, and are willing to speak! There are small-group and all-group portions of the event. Everyone is friendly and the atmosphere is very good. Don't worry!
