A book club for introverts that don't want to be told what to read (cause who likes deadlines anyway 🥲)
In our events, we bring our own book, read for about 1 hour, and then have a conversation about what we read (only if you want to, no pressure) and if I feel that there are too many people we get divided into different groups
Usually we have book related questions prepared (fiction and nonfiction) so we give this part a bit of structure.
And then take it from there, who knows you might end up with a new friend, or not but you will have gotten out of the house, which is already an accomplishment!
If you find big groups of people intimidating and you feel like it's never your turn to talk, join our club; we'll be reading instead (but not really, cause after 1 hour we have the socializing part with real human beings! 😳)
📚 Important stuff 📚
- The event is free but we're expected to order something
- We keep the number of people limited, so it doesn't get overwhelming
- The main language is English, but I will prepare Korean translations for all the questions, so don’t worry about your English level.
- Please only RSVP if you're sure you can attend
- No show ups, last minute cancellations (within 24 hours) will be removed from the group, unless you let me know in advance
- Only attend if you're on the RSPV list

사람 많은 모임이 부담스럽고, 왠지 항상 말할 타이밍을 놓치는 느낌이라면
우리 모임에 오세요. 일단은 읽을 거예요. (…하지만 1시간 뒤에는 실제 인간들과의 사교 타임이 있습니다 😳)
