Join us for an engaging blend of reading, acting out, and discussing scenes from popular films, TV series, or plays. No acting experience is needed—just your enthusiasm!
In each meetup, we spotlight a specific scene and delve into the themes and concepts it reveals about life. This can include exploring the meaning of relationships, family dynamics, personal aspirations, and the psychology of the characters. Our discussions aim to provoke thought and offer a deeper understanding of both the scene and its broader implications.

- La La Land : Seb and Mia’s Argument Scene

• Breaking Bad : Jessie and Jane door scene

Event Outline:

• Meet and greet
• Distribute scripts for selected scenes
• Group reading and watch the scene
• Discussion on the scene’s themes
• Discuss/and read in pairs
• Final performances for the group
• Award ceremony (Reward: a round of applause)

About the Hosts: Hello, I'm Jane, a Korean business strategist who spent some time in the UK as an exchange student. That's where I met my friend Jen, who was born in Scotland and is currently studying at Korea University (I still tease her about not choosing Yonsei). We're excited to meet new friends and have some fun together.
