This time, we’ll be diving into the emotional world of scenes from movies and dramas that capture the turbulent era leading up to Korea’s liberation (Gwangbok).

🎌 What is Liberation Day (Gwangbokjeol)?
Liberation Day, or Gwangbokjeol (광복절), is one of Korea’s most important national holidays. It marks August 15, 1945, the day Korea regained its independence after decades of Japanese colonial rule.

Scripts are provided in advance. No need to memorize. Just read, perform, and have fun!

You’ll also get around one hour of rehearsal time on the day of the event to practice your scene with your scene partners before the performances begin.
