Figure Drawing Class

Jason models at several art schools in the area, and is experienced. His poses are bold and unique. We will do some warm up gestures, and then he will evolve into longer poses. Jason will be nude.

This session is will be a class taught by Sarah Kaiser in her studio.

It is an intermediate level. To begin, Sarah will demonstrate of quick gesture drawings. Poses will range from 5 to 25 minutes long at the beginning. The longest pose will be about one hour long.

She will also address measuring (angles and heads), and shading techniques.

The instructor will be using charcoal:

vine charcoal sticks, compressed charcoal pencils
charcoal paper (with a tooth)
kneaded eraser, chamois

Supplies are available for students to use.
