Join us at Unity of Columbus as Michelle Harcha explores the mystery of synchronicity and how these meaningful moments may be guiding us toward greater wisdom, purpose, and connection. After Sunday’s message, stay for an interactive workshop where Michelle will share practical tools inspired by Byron Katie and Marilee Adams to help us recognize and align with Divine guidance.

This month we’ll be reading Goddess of the River by Vaishnavi Patel. Feel free to come even if you don’t finish the book!

Dodgeball is back again! If you’ve been wanting to come out, this is an easy one to join. We’ll be playing for about 1.5 to 2 hours, you do not need to bring any equipment, and no experience is needed. We use a specific set of rules and equipment to make the games run better and keep them fun for everybody, not just people who already know how to play. If it rains, the event will be canceled.

Join the Introverts of Columbus at Quarry Trails Metro Park for an afternoon walk in the Park. We'll meet near the parking lot area for about 15 minutes before heading out to chat and hike through the metro park. This will be a casually paced walk to allow people to get to know each other, and enjoy nature at the same time. 🚨🚨 Please note that there are multiple parking areas for the Quarry Trails Park, and please note the address in the event to get to the correct starting area! 🚨🚨

**This event is 2:30 - 4 pm Sunday.** Conversation tends toward intermediate/advanced, but everybody is welcome. If you come and don't see us right away, keep looking. We could be anywhere in the restaurant. Or out on the patio.

Based on the novel Roadside Picnic, it is NO picnic, but rather one of the masterpieces of world cinema. Andrei Tarkovsky's 1979 Soviet sci-fi classic, recounts the expedition of a writer and professor led by a mysterious guide called "The Stalker." to a futuristic wasteland called "The Zone." Dripping with existential dread, it continually presents strange occurrences that will have us debating the meaning of what we've just viewed right through the ending. *Stalker* (1979) can be streamed for free on HBOMax, the Criterion Channel or Kanopy. This event explores how schools and other campuses can create living classrooms and contribute to community science. * **Tour the Land Lab:** Award-winning environmental science educator Jim Reding will lead guided tours through prairie, wetlands and other restored habitat, sharing the story behind this nationally-recognized space and the students and partnerships who helped make it happen. * **Contribute to Community Science with iNaturalist App:** Learn to identify and document plants, pollinators and other wildlife using iNaturalist. Join us for a 2.4 mile hike along the Alum Creek Trail south from Casto park to Strawberry Farms park and back. This is a fully paved flat trail along Alum Creek. Come and enjoy a great hike with us!

Register for a hands-on art making workshop at the Octagon Earthworks, led by Newark Earthworks Center experts Marti Chaatsmith and Megan Cromwell, along with Ohio State’s 2025–26 Artist Laureate, Kate Shannon. The workshop will take place on June 29, 2026, 10 am - 2 pm (rain date: June 29th, 10 am - 2 pm) at 125 N. 33rd St. Newark, OH 43055. Ages 14 and up are invited to participate The cyanotype is a simple photographic process that uses sunlight and water to produce vivid blue images. During the workshop, participants will learn about the Octagon Earthworks before exploring the grounds to create place-based prints inspired by Hopewell culture Select prints created during the workshop will be featured in a subsequent exhibition at the Newark Earthworks Storyteller Gallery, on view from July 13 to August 28, 2026. Moth Night with Butterfly Ridge in Granville Friday, July 17, 2026 8:45PM - 11:30PM Join Chris Kline from Butterfly Ridge for an evening learning about and identifying our nocturnal pollinating friends, the moths!! The program lasts a few hours, but you can leave on your own schedule. Free! Registration not required. Christopher Kline’s interest in butterflies began in 1997 when he began tagging Monarch butterflies in Indiana. Since 1997, he has tagged thousands of Monarchs, co-founded the Central Arizona Butterfly Association, and founded the Southwest Monarch Study. He has also served as the Butterfly Specialist at the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens in Columbus, Ohio. He now is the Director of Butterfly Ridge Butterfly Conservation Center in Rockbridge, Ohio where he and his wife have converted 21 acres of fields and forests into butterfly friendly habitats and have quintupled the butterfly population in the process.
