Whether you’re a first-time blogger or seasoned developer, there’s always more to learn. The vast resources available at [Learn.WordPress.org](https://learn.wordpress.org/) from community members all over the world will help you learn more about WordPress and teach it to others.
One of the best ways to learn is through collaborative discussions with others. The meetups here bring together people around the content hosted on [Learn.WordPress.org](https://learn.wordpress.org/) for live discussions and learning. We share knowledge, exchange ideas, and learn from each other. When you sign up for a meetup, please take the time to watch the suggested workshop(s) in advance where necessary.
You must agree to the code of conduct in order to participate in these online workshops. Some online workshops are recorded – you will be notified of this as you join the session and, if you do not wish to appear in the recording, you can choose to opt-out entirely or simply hide your video so you are not visible. Recordings will be published on [WordPress.tv](https://wordpress.tv/) after the event has taken place.

Training Team WordCamp Europe 2026 Contributor Day Online
·온라인온라인WordCamp Europe Contributor Day is happening on June 4th, 2025! As we get ready for the event, we’d love to hear your suggestions for activities and tasks that contributors at the Training Team table can participate in. ## How can I prepare for Contributor Day?
- First of all – sign up for Contributor Day! (The form is at the bottom of this page)
- Make sure to check your email inbox for pre-event information! Check your spam folder once in a while so you don’t miss out on any news from us
- Create a wordpress.org account if you don’t have one already. This account can be used for all contributing activities.
- Create a gravatar.com account. If you’d like to use an image/avatar on your WordPress Profile go to gravatar.com and create an account using the same email.
- Join the international Make WordPress Slack workspace.
- For this you need an invite so, while logged in with your wordpress.org account, visit the WordPress + Slack page and click the link to receive the invite via email.
- From the email login to the Slack team. For your email address, use {username}@chat.wordpress.org where {username} is the user name you picked for wordpress.org. If possible, pick the same username for Slack.
- Search for #contributor-day channel
- If you don’t already use Slack you can access it here.
- Get ready to plug in!

Kick-off: In 7 Wochen zur eigenen Website – WordPress-Lerngruppe Juli 2026
·온라인온라인Du möchtest endlich deine eigene Website erstellen, weißt aber nicht, wo du anfangen sollst? Alleine durch Tutorials zu kämpfen ist mühsam und oft frustrierend. In der Gemeinschaft macht es nicht nur mehr Spaß, sondern klappt auch viel besser.
Die WP-DACH-Lerngruppe ist ein kostenloses, 7-wöchiges Online-Programm des WordPress Training Teams DACH, der offiziellen deutschsprachigen Gruppe des globalen Make WordPress Training Teams. Wir begleiten dich Schritt für Schritt von der ersten Installation bis zu deiner fertigen, persönlichen Website.
Das Kick-off ist eine unverbindliche Info-Veranstaltung zum Kennenlernen. Wir erklären das Konzept und beantworten alle deine Fragen. Nach dieser Session entscheidest du, ob du mitmachst.
Das Wichtigste auf einen Blick:
- Kosten: Kostenlos. Alle Coaches engagieren sich ehrenamtlich.
- Format: Wöchentliche Live-Treffen via Zoom, jeden Dienstag von 19:00 bis 20:30 Uhr
- Plätze: Maximal 15 Teilnehmende, persönliche Betreuung bei den Live-Treffen
- Lernkonzept: Blended Learning (offizielle Online-Materialien) kombiniert mit Peer-Learning (Austausch in der Gruppe)
- Sprache: Die Treffen finden komplett auf Deutsch statt
- Lernmaterial: Wir nutzen die offiziellen Lektionen von learn.wordpress.org (auf Englisch; Übersetzungstools wie DeepL sind völlig ausreichend)
- Zertifikat: Bei 80 % Anwesenheit und fertigem Projekt erhältst du ein offizielles Zertifikat
