Hi everyone! I'm Cho, your hiking buddy for this snowy adventure!

A little bit about me: I actually lived abroad as an Expat for a decade for work, just like many of you! I've been back in Korea for 3 years now, and I'm currently having the time of my life rediscovering my own country.

I don't know how long I'll stay here, but for now, I'm absolutely loving exploring every corner of this beautiful land, especially the hidden trails in the mountains!

My favorite way to enjoy Seoul is hiking the 'Dirt Paths (Soil Trails)' of Namsan, away from the boring paved roads. It feels way more connected to nature.

So, for this first snow of the winter, I want to share my secret route with you. Let's get our boots dirty and make some unforgettable memories together!

[The Plan]
1. Secret Start Point: Beotigogae Station

• Most tourists start from Myeongdong, but we start from Beotigogae.
• It's the gateway to the hidden forest trail. Less stairs, more nature!

2. Hiking in the Snow (Dirt Path)

• We will walk on soft earth, surrounded by snow-covered pine trees.(Hopefully heavy snow)
• Pace: Slow & Steady. I'm not a professional guide, just a hiking buddy! We are here to enjoy the vibe, not to race.

3. Summit Party: N Seoul Tower

• Once we reach the top, the best view of snowy Seoul awaits!
• Lunch on the Peak: Let's grab some Burgers & Beer (or Hot Coffee) at the pavilion! It tastes 10x better in the cold mountain air. (Convenience store snacks are also great!)

• What to Bring:
• 🥾 Hiking Boots (MUST): The soil trail will be slippery with snow. No flat sneakers! If you don't have proper shoes, for your safety, you might not be able to join.
• 🧥 Warm Clothes: Dress like an onion (layers!).
• 💵 Lunch Money: For food & drinks at the top.
• Fee: Free! (We are just friends hiking together)
