[Hike] Seoraksan Winter Summit via Hangyeryeong (Private Carpool)

Suddenly free on Wednesday? Let's conquer the most iconic mountain in Korea!
We are heading to Seoraksan National Park to reach the highest peak, Daecheongbong (1,708m).
Since it's a weekday, we can avoid the traffic and enjoy the quiet winter wonderland.
We will drive by our private car from Seoul, start at the scenic Hangyeryeong Pass, and return to the same point.
🏔️ The Course (Scenic & Challenging)

• Start/End: Hangyeryeong (1,004m) → Daecheongbong Summit → Hangyeryeong.
• Distance: Approx. 12km (Round trip).
• Time: Approx. 7~8 hours.
• Why this route? Starting at 1,004m saves energy, and the ridge offers breathtaking views of the snow-covered peaks throughout the hike.

📅 Date & Time

• Date: Wednesday, Jan 21
• Meeting: Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Stn (Exit 11) @ 06:00 AM Sharp!
• We must start early to finish before sunset (17:30)!

🕒 Schedule

• 06:00: Pick up & Depart from Dongdaemun.
• 08:30: Arrive at Hangyeryeong & Gear up.
• 09:00: Start Hiking! 🥾
• 13:00: Summit (Photo & Lunch).
• 16:30: Finish Hiking (Back to Car).
• 17:30: Dinner nearby (Soft Tofu Stew or BBQ).
• 20:30: Arrive in Seoul.

💰 Cost (Carpool Share)

• Approx. 15,000 KRW
• Includes: Gas, Tolls, Parking fee.
• Excludes: Food & Drinks.

⚠️ Difficulty: HARD (Winter)

• Elevation Gain: +700m (But lots of ups and downs).
• Mandatory Gear: Crampons (Eisen) are 100% required. Hiking boots, warm layers, gloves, and a Headlamp (just in case).
