+++Introduction+++
Changdeokgung Palace was built somewhat irregularly to suit the topography, unlike Gyeongbokgung Palace, the official palace, which had a symmetrical and square structure to represent the majesty of the kingdom.
It was burned and damaged several times during various wars and coups, but was restored again.
‘Biwon (Secret Garden)’, the garden only for the king, is also beautiful. Palaces in Korea are especially atmospheric and charming when it rains.

The site of the Seoul Craft Museum has a long history as a place where Joseon craftsmen, known as ‘Gyeonggakjang (京工匠)’, used it as a royal residence or produced handicrafts and delivered them to the government.
This museum allows visitors to experience the technical, practical, artistic, and cultural value of crafts by sharing not only crafts but also knowledge, records, people, and environments surrounding crafts.
