Let's get out and enjoy the great outdoors!
This group is NOT for beginners with little cardio nor speedsters with big egos. These adventures are INTERMEDIATE level and focused on fun, friendships, and sharing our love the beautiful Colorado outdoors.
Types of Adventures We Plan
- Road/gravel/mountain biking
- Hiking and bagging 14ers
- Snowboarding (Epic)
- Kayaking / SUP
- Camping
- Nature Photography
Adventures will be mostly around the Denver Metro area, but we will also plan adventures within several hours drive (i.e Buffalo Creek, Crested Butte, Monarch Pass, etc) in addition to several destination adventures a year (i.e Moab, Sedona, etc).
You need to be in good physical condition for these activities to be fun. We like to challenge ourselves, but don't take ourselves too seriously.
Riding
Expect an average pace of 14-17 mph on the road and 6-10 mph off road. If this is too fast or too slow for you please find a different group.
If you're honest about your fitness and skill level and are a true INTERMEDIATE rider, this is a NO DROP group. If for whatever reason you can't hang, we'll make an exit strategy for you but will not just ditch you.
Snowboarding/Skiing
We generally target first lift and start to head home around 1-2. Average 12-16 runs. Carpool options available. We are not speedsters, but by no means slow. Most of us are strong intermediate skill level.
14ers
We start EARLY!! 15 and counting. Great adventures! We target about 3 a season (July - Sept).
Kayaking / SUP -- Newer sport for me and would like to find others to learn from and find new places to explore. I have a whitewater inflatable kayak and would LOVE to find some good river sections to explore.
All adventurers must be self-sufficient (i.e. carry tools, tubes, food/water, proper gear, and be able to fix a flat, etc.). All adventurers are expected to wear proper helmets (required) on all rides. Gloves, eye protection, and sunscreen are recommended (optional).
Some adventures are in extreme conditions (high, elevation, vertical feet, heat, cold, poor weather, etc.) and you are expected to be conditioned and prepared for the conditions. If you have questions or are unsure, PLEASE DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE AND/OR ASK me well in advance so that you can be properly prepared for a good experience. Do not expect other adventurers to care for you; YOU MUST BE FULLY PREPARED FOR EVERY ADVENTURE.
Absolutely no tolerance for prejudiced, violent, and/or unlawful behavior. Inclusion, respect, and honesty are core values and expected from everyone. Violators will be warned and/or removed.
Please read the necessary CYA info below.

## Details
Please not the earlier start time, just for this week! Let's get out and ride after work, summer is upon us!
ABOUT THE RIDE:
Road & gravel bikes.
This a fun and lively ride, low key, with laughs and good food after. The route is ALL paved - No gravel. About 80% bike path and 20% low traffic streets, like through Cherry Creek res. Blinking taillights and blinking headlights are highly encouraged in general because drivers are crazy, although not really on this route.Route for your GPS
This week we will be going long and doing 61(ish)miles to Castlewood Canyon and back. Brings lights and on the bike food. We'll more than likely stop at Perfect Blend Coffee & Cocktails in Parker, either on the way out or the way in.
https://www.strava.com/routes/3380942806837372512What we've all been waiting for, the pace
This will be a more mellow pace due to distance, around 15-17mph end of ride average. We will have several regroup points along the way and won't leave anyone behind. This is a no drop ride. You will need lights and on the bike food.WHERE TO MEET
